Nothing like a two day work week to really press your nose right to that grindstone, eh? Somehow I have still mustered enough exhaustion to be AMPED about the weekend and the many opportunities for relaxing it offers.
Tonight: Grilling. Watching the sunset. Convincing my husband that we should totally go camping in the rain forest.
Saturday: Maybe kayaking, if the weather stops sucking for one freaking minute. Or taking a trip out to the Red Hook brewery. Then an open house for some friends who actually managed to buy a house in town. Pointing out to my husband that the rain forest was declared a national park to preserve the “finest example of primeval forest” and there is a Hall Of Moss.
Sunday: OK, that Hall of Moss thing doesn’t sound so impressive, but it looks really cool. Like a fairy tale forest. C’mon, Bug, let’s go camping! You kill all the spiders, OK?
