Real Life: March 19th - 21st

It's shaping up to be a weekend, that's for sure. I hear some of you will be watching hours of basketball and fretting over your brackets (Porkchop), others will be playing records (me), playing live music (Mark), or planning a potluck (Coral). What's your weekend looking like?

Tonight: there's dinner for the folks that want it. I think it's time for DeManda to have a shot at her dearly beloved Olympia. Puff pastry! Meat on a stick! Flaming cheese! Sadly, I'm not sure I'll be able to make it, because I'm DJing tonight and have not had time to get my records together.  But thems that want Greek food should eat some dinner at 7:30pm and have some spinach and feta for me.

Later tonight: you could go see Mark's rock show at Lemmon's, or you could listen to me spin records at The Royale. It's your choice! How's that for democracy? (Psst, mine's free!)

Tomorrow: I got wedding stuff to get done, then who knows!? Probably more wedding stuff! There's a potluck at the Onion for those eaters among you, theme dishes should somehow involve a hit song from the 1990's. Salt n' Peppa potato chips, anyone?

Sunday: I have no idea. Most likely it will involve weddings in some capacity, because that's just how I roll.

So tell me: what I am forgetting?

Happy weekend to all.

Tonight:  Takin' 'er easy.  Maybe a little chillin' with a buddy who's in town.  Maybe nothin'.  Definitely maybe.

Tomorrow: Morning drive to Columbia, MO.  R&P MPO present Buster Keaton's High Sign and Go West at the Missouri Theater at 7pm.  At the end of the do-re-mi, we are apt to dye the hut-set red.

Sunday: Return to STL.  Weather permitting, some kind of Tower Grove softball grudge match between members of the Dangerfields and a collection of bicycle-riding anarcho-socialists.  (As if they know how to play softball, fer cryin' out loud!)  In the evening, maybe hangin' for a spell at Lemmon's.

I think there's a potluck in there somewhere on Saturday evening, but I'll be concurrently watching basketball and not fretting over brackets, and I opted to keep my to-do list tidy.

Tonight: Watching GL to see if anyone opts in on Olympia. If not, I may just try for another week and eat food at the Royale or somewhere else nearby? Let me know what y'all think. After: Rekkid spinnage enjoyment.

Tomorrow: I think Liz and I are going to go cheer a few of our friends on at their first 5k (I was supposed to sign up for this, but I just don't feel ready yet). Meeting a friend to check out the hand-knit superhero suits on view at Laumeier's indoor gallery space, and potlucking. I originally said "Dibs on Groove is in the Tart!", but may have found a better idea...

Sunday: Running, homework, etc.

Tonight: Ezra and I shall require dinner.  DeManda, call one of us when you get home.

Tomorrow: Ezz's family's annual 'Ma Night,' at which the entire extended family plays poker in honor of Ezz's deceased great grandmother.  Sorry we will miss the potluck action.

Sunday: Ezz Gone Wild: Spring Break 2010.

Yo, Demanda, Ima, etc. - looks like the Porkchops may let me go out for dinner by myself, like a grownup, so if'n you wanna go somewhere, call me. Preferably somewhere that I can score Porkchop Sr. a hamburger to take home, but whatevs.

Tomorrow - Potluck in p.m., meeting w/ realtor in a.m. Groceries somewhere in there, I guess.

Sunday - Nuthin'. Well, probably Reggae Baby Sunday.
