Real Life: November 13th - 15th

GUY FAWKES WEEKEND!

Tonight: I'm DJing at the Royale, starting at 10pm. Be there, get your groove on, get your drink on, shake a tail feather.  Prior to that, I imagine some folks will be getting some food. I don't know if I'll be able to join you, so I don't know if I should suggest a dining location. Somewhere in South City, not too far from the Royale, so you can all come there after you eat.

Saturday: Bug and I will be getting the house ready, then getting our costumes ready for Guy Fawkes 2009: Book Titles! P-a-r-t-y! Show up at our place around 9pm, bring booze if you like, have a grand old time.

Sunday: Sleep. Wish someone else would clean my house. Sleep.

woo-hoo!  weekend!

this evening:  dinner with the andy,kelly and little henry s.  maybe stop by chez royale and/or maybe finish carson mcculler's the members of the wedding (and by finish, i mean finish reading the novella, not finish making a costume evocative of the title).

saturday: epiphany trivia night!  guy fawkes!  prepare to have your mind blown by my costume.  (prepare right now.  don't wait until saturday afternoon because then you will not be able to handle what i'm bringin' saturday night.)  

sunday: attending poetic and audio visual stylings - http://tinyurl.com/yzuvdtz - and then maybe catching theodore's homecoming show at off broadway.  oft broodway.  soft breadway.  

dang, this'll be a fun weekend.

This evening: Nerd Games and potluck at the CLAM hut. Maybe Royale later?

Tomorrow: School, scrambling for a GF costume (I am a bit of a procrastinator), homework, napping, etc.

Sunday: Work, birthday stuff for Christian's sister (cue Coral singing that bit to the tune of "Sister Christian").

Re: Tuesday: Can we even watch ANTM knowing that Miss J is off the show? Whatever shall we do!?!

('Pants: please know that I mean this in a funny, lighthearted way (sometimes hard to convey when typing, especially when one hates using smileys): Somebody else does clean your house, yes?)

Funny & lighthearted maybe, but HELL YES someone else cleans my house. It's the very best money that anyone could ever hope to spend. I can't count the tears it has spared.

Oh man, I thought you said "sleeping with someone who could clean my house." And I was all like, "Well I guess that rules me out."

Anywhooo... tonight, going to Brendan Benson at the Duck Room w/ Lu$ -- anyone wanna join us? You can save $8 buying tickets at the door if they still have 'em.  Fucking Ticketmaster racket.  Tomorrow, enjoying the nice weather yet again and maybe catching some futbol at the 'Dam during the day (if they're able to show Ireland vs. France -- if not, I might have to go there in the morning to watch US/Slovakia), preparing a Guy Fawkes costume at some point, then Fawkin' it up. Sunday, I rest. And watch football.

Next week's gonna suck:  interviewing job candidates all day on Monday and Wednesday, going to a day-long meeting in Springfield, IL on Tuesday, and going to Anaheim for a conference from Thursday through Sunday. Who the hell puts conferences on the weekend? Assholes, that's who.

Tonight: We're home, hibernating with work and movies and Microwaved delights.

Tomorrow: Our re-introduction to the world! Ping and I will be at GF. I'm excited about receiving my costume.

Tonight - chillin' at my crib, I reckon. Tomorrow - haircuts, book fair at Left Bank Books, then GF. Emmett's the only one in our house with a good costume idea, but he's probably not going, since it's past his bedtime...

tonight - class then food with bird's peeps. (get it - peep.. bird... ha ha ha)

tomorrow - work then costumes then fawkin' it up!  yeah yeah!

sunday - work some more then pot-lucking with nerd friends from the gym.  

btw, how do i get in on the 'pay someone else to clean my house' bit?  i want in.
