Real Life: June 19th - 21st

I for one, am ready for the weekend. Being out of town last weekend and out on the town every night this week has done its toll on the house, the laundry and the garden. But I did get to eat a lovely dinner and watch two baseball games, so I'm not complaining.

Tonight: I have had a request for Indian food, and since i'm never one to pass up paneer, and since only a few folks got to join us last time we ate there, and since they have a lovely big back room that can accomodate all of us and is very baby-friendly, I suggest India's Rasoi. Come join us, have a vegetarian feast or some non-veg thingy, eat, drink and be merry. Also, DeManda offers this tempting morsel from last week... Next Friday: for those of you into this type of thing: we're watching Friday the 13th I and II at my place--be there!

Tomorrow: Family reunion, Baby's 1st Birthday, laundry, laundry, laundry (seriously, it's getting desperate, like bachelor-style, maybe I need to run out and buy some more underpants desperate). I do not know if anything else will be going on that evening, but if it's good, let me know, all right?

Sunday: Father's Day!!1! Hanging out with my Dad.

...and by next Friday, I mean tonight! For those of you up for some gore and naughty teens (not necessarily in that order), it's Fri the 13 I and II! 7:30-ish, which means no Indian for me (or you, if you attend), but we can order Chinese or something.

Tomorrow: Weeding, followed by: Tot pop out day! Tot pop out day! I want to say that there's something going on after that, but I'll be durned if I can remember what it is. My pal Sarah is in town from NY--maybe a thing related to that?

Sunday: My pops just got eye surgery, so my family is delaying the pop day celebrations, but I do intend to get him a pirate eye patch or something. Maybe drinks in the evening, if anyone is down for relaxing on the Royale patio, or heading to the Deacon or something?

happy friday to you all!  the bird and deer are down for indian tonight... 7 or 7.30?  

saturday morning will be spent preparing a dish for the tot pop out day celebration!  and saturday day will be the previous mentioned tot pop celebration.  

the deer and bird will be hitting the hay by no later than 9pm on saturday night on the account of we gots to get up at the ass crack of dawn to catch a plane to FLARIDA!!!  a whole 5 days on the beach!  yippee!!!

Tonight - family dinner with the family. We're going to Momos, if you wanna move HappyLife there and hang out with my parents and Brad's mom and sister and sister's bf.

Tomorrow - Tot pop out day! Yay! Baked the cake today - tomorrow, onward to the frosting, presenting and consuming stages. For those of you with short memories, or who I forgot to invite, it's 5:00 - 8:00, Saturday. Bring a potluck-y dish, not a present.

Sunday - Forking over presents to first-time dad, Porkchop, sending his family back home, then straight-up chillin'. A drink may be in order.

tomorrow: baby bash, then henry fonda in the park.  

sunday: celebrating father's day with the folks, then party at milla's in the evening.

Dinner at 7:30 tonight since there's no wee baby joining us (sadface) and I'm probably going to have work a tad late.

Tonight: The Ping and I are in for India's Rasoi. I'm starving.

Saturday: We will at the very least be able to make the first half of Emmett's big 1 bash.

Sunday: Father's day brunch and Father's day dinner.

Just now: Realized I forgot to eat lunch today.

Later tonight: Will eat extra amounts of navratan korma to make up for it.

Tomorrow: Family reunion cameo (they'll never be expecting it), followed by an Apple store visit to get Dr. Hotpants's new old phone looked at, followed by the big "one" for a wee tot of thy pal set.

Sunday: Sleeping, eating, etc. (I almost said "fathering" here, but that means something very very different, which I shall not purposefully be doing on this day. It's interesting how different the verbs mothering and fathering are. And I don't know of any particular meaning for brothering or sistering.)

Tonight: Hotpants, put us down for 2. (But first, the gym.)

Tomorrow: Assorted household and/or creative pursuits + a special date with a special baby.

Sunday: More housework/Big Trash Day or Dad Day BBQ in Terre Haute w/ chiclurgee (that's Claire) and family.
