Real Life: May 29th - 31st
We now return to our regularly scheduled life: overwhelming email inbox, followed by frantic catch up with work stuff, and a swiftly approaching weekend. The Bahamas were amazing. We didn't get back home till late, late, late last night and I'm still a little loopy, quite frankly. But it's good to be home, even with a mountain of laundry looming in front of me like some sort of evil, domestic mirage.
This weekend, shall we?
Tonight: Bug is craving Indian, which is always all right in my book. He has, however, proposed an interesting plan. How do you all feel about trying the Tandoori Hut again? I don't know what it's actually called, but it's the Indian place there at the corner of Fyler & Hampton. The place that used to be a Pizza Hut. The service has been sketchy in the past, but where would we be without supporting our local business owners? While the restaurant has been dead to me for some time, I think I am willing to give it another shot. After all, life is nothing without adventure. So let me know, are you feeling adventurous?
We will take a vote. Here's your options: Tandoori Hut (adventure) or India's Rasoi (tried & true). Place your vote in the comments below. Let me know if you are up for one or either. Voting ends at 5pm, since I will have to call to make reservations for us then. Let's hear it for democracy!
Tomorrow: Daytime will probably be quickly passed pulling weeds in the garden, unpackening, and clean laundry-fying the old homestead. Evening will find me watching hockey. It's the finals, finally. Red Wings vs. Penguins. EDIT: Starts at 7pm. BYOB. You are welcome to join, but as always, stragglers may have to sit on the floor cushions, especially now that the NEW COUCH has a strict 3-person limit. Maybe 3-person plus baby, but we don't want to push it. On a semi-related note, anyone know where I can find some nice throw pillows?
Sunday: Chillaxin' prolly.
How about you? How's your weekend shaping up? Anything fun/exciting going on?
