Real Life: April 10th - 12th

Happy Good Friday! Happy Passover! Really, is "happy" the right term for these things? They both seem sort of macabre. All about death and torture and slaughtering. Ugh. Give me bunnies laying eggs and hiding candy any day. Anyhoodle...

Tonight: You're on your own for dinner tonight. Bug & I are going to the Bonnie Prince Billy show at the Pageant. True, we will probably have to eat dinner before then, but I don't know that we can get a big group dinner in before 8pm. Probably not if we start at 7:30, huh? So you're on you own. We still love you. It's just best for everyone this way.

Tomorrow: I believe there are birthday festivities of some sort that maybe some of you will be attending. As I have no more information at this time, that's as specific as I can get.

Sunday: Some of you will probably be going to church or hanging out with your families. The lucky ones will get baskets full of chocolate and plastic grass that will cling to everything in your house till Christmas.  The luckiest ones will be Bug & I, who are going to the baseball game. That is if it ever stops raining, and they ever get to play baseball again.

Also: I just got tickets for Fischerspooner on Thursday, May 14th at the Pageant. If you are familair with Fischerspooner, I assume I will see you there. If you are not familiar with Fischerspooner, let me sum it up for you: Electro-dance music, huge stage show including dancers, glitter cannons, costumes. At least it was six years ago, when I listened to them. I don't know what's happened recently, but I figure if it ain't broke...

So, what are you wonderful folks up to this weekend? Egg hunts? Egg rolls? Egg drop soup? Do tell, do tell!

I will not be going to Urbana to spend Easter with my husband, as I had originally planned.

I am available for dinner if anyone is interested.  I've kind of been craving EBL, but I'm up for most anything.

I sicked my way through this week, including a sick-licious Passover, and I continue to be sick today, so no HL for me. Bleh. I do love Easter because of the candy, so maybe I'll get some Cadbury eggs and add their snot-like candy center to my already snot-filled week. Mmm-mmm.

Ping - they have mini Cadbury eggs, too, which have a much better creme filling to chocolate ratio, in my humble opinion.

This evening I will be tending to my sexy sicko. I'm actually kind of liking her throaty, cold-infused voice. So far I haven't been infiltrated with said illness.

Rest of the weekend: Not sure. Probably recovering from paying the government a crazy amount of taxes. Self-employment tax is NASty. I can only hope that our current government is putting it to better use than the one four years ago. Or maybe my tax dollars will go to this cutie: http://tinyurl.com/cko962

I hope everyone enjoys their assorted thises and thats! We shall return next weekend!

Tonight: I'm down for dinner wherever, including EBL!

Tomorrow: Precious little, if I have my way. Hanging out with friends in the evening, complete with hair-doing party.

Sunday: Working, chocolate, and then drinks with a pal I haven't seen in a while.

Where does the time go? I don't *feel* that busy until I see it in print...

Tonight: Would available HL'ers be interested in a slightly earlier than usual dinner, to accomodate my sleepy child? Of course, he's taking a super-long nap now, so may be good later than usual... Also Porkchop is arguing for maybe someplace other than EBL, since we had Mexican last night. Jeez! If we're going to be that difficult, nobody's gonna want to hang out with us...

Saturday: Maybe trying to build a test-trellis for the garden. Maybe dying eggs somewhere with someone? We got a dozen, and some dye...

Sunday: The annual Easter trip to the country with the family, featuring a baby in a backpack.

Happy b-day Claire - not sure if we'll make it to any birthday events, but you never know. By the way, tonight's festivities have been relocated to allow for the watching of hockey. Holla at us for details...

@ the Prof.: I do like the mini Cadburys, but I prefer the classic large size. BTW, I had a roommate in Chicago who once bought a whole box of the large size Cads, I believe that is 48 eggs total, and the poor Walgreens lady had to ring them up one at a time. Now that guy had a serious egg addiction. And:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAIRE!!! I will celebrate your birthday by not giving you a cold.
