Real Life: April 3rd - 5th

I'm eating a muffin and drinking coffee. Oh wait, sorry. Thought I was on Twitter for a minute there. Anyhooo....

This weekend. Let's get all up in it.

Tonight: I believe some of you are dining ala Potluck at Chez Onion at 6pm. Enjoy a casserole, salad or pasta dish for me! I won't be there 'cause I've got friends in town that I'm hoping to take to dinner. Not that they wouldn't necessarily enjoy a Potluck, just that... well, you understand, I'm sure. Anyway, said friends are Beach House, and they'll be playing a show at the Billiken Club tonight. It starts at 9pm and it's FREE. Like no monies. FREE, people. Put that in your recession and smoke it. You'd probably like Beach House. They're all sweet and dreamy and stuff. Pitchfork named them one of their top five bands of ever or something. So after you fill up on homecooked grub, come on out to the show and we can hang out.

Tomorrow: Working on a mustache. For MARCH MUSTACHE MADNESS. Party starts at 8pm at the Royale. There will be prizes. There will be music. There will be mustaches.

Sunday: Relaxing harder than ever.

So what are you up to this fine weekend?

P.S. Do people get together for TV on wednesday nights? I was hoping to do an every other week classic movie watching at our place, but I'm not sure if people are already someplace on Wednesdays. Why Wednesdays? That is the day of the week that my house is the cleanest. Only the best for my friends.

Wednesdays are indeed a sacred TV night for the clan at Chez Onion, me, Mark, Ima, etc. I can't give that up (unless the Onion sez so); sorry.

Tonight: Working late (8-ish), and then perhaps either catching up with the folks at the Onion, or inviting folks over to watch the classic movie "Knightriders", or maybe even combining the two (Onionriders?)

Tomorrow: Working, chilling, going to moustache (which is also the site of Tanya B's 30th birthday party, btw!)

Sunday: working, hangin' with some pals (featuring a special appearance by Jena!)

Monday: "Let the Right One In" with friends.

Tonight: Oh crap! Potluck! Totally forgot. Today: Thinking about what to cook for potluck, buying ingredients, cooking it. Wait - is anybody coming to this thing?

Tomorrow: Garden/yard stuff, then going to watch the first professional female soccer game in St. Louis. Except it's in Edwardsville. After that, trying to stay awake long enough to fully enjoy mustache hijinx.

Sunday: Chillin', grocery shoppin'?

Okay, more potluck thoughts: Let's make it 7:00. And we'll think of some vegetarian main dish to offer - others can bring salad, dessert, bread, drinks, etc. Assuming anyone else is interested, of course...

My idea for potluck? Salad/baked potato bar: we provide the potatoes and lettuce, you bring a fixin' or two that would work well on either (since just about anything does).  Of course, this comes on the heels of my dessert idea for Wednesday night TV:  you pick something out of our pantry and I make it into a concrete.

My other idea for potluck? A rap song called "Potluck and Drop It."

So, if anyone is interested, please call Coral in advance and she'll help you get it sorted out.

Tonight: No potluck for us this evening, but we will be going to the Beach House show.

Tomorrow: We'll be coming up with mustache ideas and then attending the madness.

Sunday: Way too far out, man.

TONITE:  in between studying boring sales & leases, pouring over this brilliant and historic piece of unanimously-decided jurisprudence:

TOMORROW:  being mustachioed in spirit as i stoically prepare resumes, cover letters, and homeworks.  stupid school makes me miss all the fun.

SUNDAY:  reading employment discrimination like a champ.  a fucking champ.  (hey, remember that band, the fucking champs?)

Tonight: potluckin' with my husband and son. Forget the rest of you people, what with your lives and all.
