Real Life: October 10th - 12th

Word. Tonight I'm feeling like eating tofu donuts. Maybe we've been to Lemongrass recently, but I don't care. I'm really in the mood for batter dipped, deep fried, tofu donut deliciousness. Dang. After that I will be DJing at the Royale. Starts at 10PM and my parents might be there, so please show up and act like you're all really into the music and you really really like it. I've also had Olivia Newton John stuck in my head all day. Consider that fair warning. Of an awesome storm brewing! All right.

Tomorrow & Sunday: I think the Bug & I are going to be painting the living room. At least we should be. If you see us doing something else, you should feel free to mock us for our refusal to face the facts that the living room will not paint itself. If only! Someone get on that. Self-painting walls. Genius! Million dollar idea! Anyway, we can only paint so much. We'll probably be up for food Saturday evening and a good excuse to get out of a paint-fumey house.

Tonight: The Ping and I will be joining you at Lemongrass tonight, and probably at the Royale afterward, too (my fave Olivia Newton John song: "Please Don't Keep Me Waiting"). We will also most likely be bringing our friend Monica, who is in town. I think most of you have met her before.

Saturday: Working during the day. Going to a bowling party at night.

Sunday: Canvassing area neighborhoods for Obama.

Tonight: Showing off my new maybe-shorter-than-Brad's-hair haircut somewhere. I was hoping for EBL, but might tolerate Lemongrass. Or maybe we'll do dinner on our own and wait till the kid falls asleep before heading to the Royale in shifts... Is Mark spinning too?

Sat/Sun: Something outside. Anybody got any ideas, other than canvassing for Obama?

I bet you have Olivia Newton John in your head because of last night's episode of The Office ("Let's get ethical, ethical, let's get into ethical, let me hear your DunderMifflin talk.").  Either that or you've been listening to my mom clean the house 25 years ago.

I'm going to Urbana for the weekend to enjoy geeklife: urbana nights.  A co-worker told me today that this weekend is homecoming for Illinois, so that could potentially suck.

Tonight: going to some fancy dress-up party to celebrate the opening of the International Science Festival, possibly hitting the Royale later (unless I get tanked on free wine).

Tomorrow: either helping Alisa apartment-hunt (hey, deer--you wanna rent-paying roomie for a couple of months?) or doing something outside with Coral's new haircut--maybe punkin patch? Anything going on in the evening?

Sunday: Art projects (immediately followed by chilling the **** out)

hi all - i know it's late but no dinner for me anyways - going to a "jewelry party" at my friend megan's house.  royale later tonight though!

sat. evening i'm going to the mizzou game in columbia.  we're ranked #3 i heard.

sunday i'm contemplating driving to chicago for the night.  no idea why...
