Right now: There is a very exciting bomb threat going on at the zoo right now, which is making it hard for anything to get done over here.

Tonight: working , hoping to make the Kepi instore at Vintage, featuring one Picker on drums, and unpacking

Tomorrow: Lugging the last of my stuff over to the new place, unpacking, and trying to find stuff.

Sunday: Working, etc.

Oh, yes, and probably also picnicking.

6 pm tonight, as Demanda said, I'm playing drums with Kepi from the Groovie Ghoulies at an instore at Vintage.  You should all go!  I'll make more of an ass out of myself on drums than usual.  THAT you cannot afford to miss.  I doubt I'll be Four-Seasoning as I am kicking it with Kepi and co after the gig.  I will, however, see you all tomorrow for the pic-i-nic.  

4 Seasons is fine with us.  We will be at the picnic tomorrow afternoon, and after that we're going to family stuff.  Sunday is wide open.

Wow; those Tom Waits tickets are silly expensive! Katie and I are tempted to shell out the big bucks, never having see Tom before, but man, why couldn't he play the Pageant instead of the Fabulously Expensive Fox?

Tonight: Not sure; a high school friend is in town and plans are up in the air right now. Will write later if we're going to be part of the Four Seasons.

Tomorrow: Picnic. And then not sure. A different high school friend is in town and plans with him are also up in the air right now.

Sunday: Dinner with Katie's mom to celebrate her birthday.

Shall we try to sup near Vintage so we can see Picky on drums?  Anything around there that's veg-friendly?  Also, Duane's "other" band is having a CD-release at the Bluebird.  

The rest of the weekend, I suppose we'll pick-a-nick-a, possibly hit the farmer's market, hopefully finish painting the ceiling, and maybe start tearing up the floors in the office. Nothing is certain in this life.  

If we get our shit together, we may have a Memorial Day BBQ next weekend, unless somebody else has already claimed those duties. Heheh, I said "doodies."

Dave, do you have Wii Fit yet? B/C I'm feeling fat.    

Could eat 4 Seasons, I reckon, or easily be talked into somewhere in teh Loop. Thai Cafe is right over that way, though last time I recall the service taking, oh, let's say hours. But the spring rolls are good...

Otherwise... hopefully not writing too many more kids' progress reports, painting the ceiling, tearing up the floor, maybe finally weeding the backyard. Thinking more about the viability of a BBQ next weekend. Picnicking, weather permitting.

OK, I'm back. I plan to see the Count at the Vintage Vinyl at 6pm. Then Katie and my friend Reuven, whom some of you may recall as one of my groomsmen, will be joining us for dinner... Thai Cafe sounds great. Perfect night to walk up and down la Loop, too.

Might try to make the Picker instore. it's gonna be tough as i'll have to make a 40 minute trip in 30. Someone text me if I'm not there before it ends. After that I'll sup somewhere then I'll spin records at the Royale.

Tomorrow I aim to clean around the house.

Sunday will culminate in band practice.

Thai Cafe works for me. I guess with a late change like this, anyone who notices, please post, and anyone who's up for calling others, please do.
