Real Life, October Two Through Four: Soused Edition

Hi, Everybody! What are your plans for this crisp fall weekend? Here's how it's gonna go for me:

Tonight: Working late, and then attending Bacchus at the Basin, a big wine and food party at the bottom of Art Hill. Hey, Deer--did you get my message about being my date? If she can't make it, does anyone else wanna be my plus one? All the wine and cute little mini foods you can handle...

Tomorrow: cleaning/dog walking/farmer's marketing/gym-classing/drawing/reading in the daytime, and a Brazilian wedding party in the evening, where I suspect I will see many of you!

Sunday: Maybe some work, plus a big, sprawling, Irish-style family reunion (Xian's). Dog park, maybe?

Tonight: I'm thinking dinner at EBL. Anybody else up for delicious burritos, margaritas, and all the other things that make this good life worth living?

Tomorrow: PJLime says "The St. Louis Blues are in Sweden but we will be watching them on the JUMBOTRON in their game tomorrow - Saturday - at 2:00pm at the Scottrade Center downtown." I may attempt to attend in between wedding reception prep.

Tomorrow night: Wedding reception.

Sunday: Last Cards game of the regular season. You'll find Bug & me basking in the baseball love from our seats along the 3rd base line.

I'm definitely down with EBL. Sure, we got takeout from there last Friday, and yeah, maybe I ate the leftovers on Sunday, plus a separate taco salad on Wednesday. But, technically speaking it's been a week since I've been there. Plus, they were like vacant, on a Friday night.  They need our business.  And I will give them the business. We'll see if they can wrangle up some wine for Reichiko, but she may have to settle for Jarritos Sangria.

Saturday -- Farmer's Market/Morganford "Fest" of some sort in the noon-ish hours (sorry PJL). Receiving in the PM, catching Rio Olympics fever (sorry Chicago)!

Sunday -- Mowing the lawn, lowing the mawn. Watching football. Doin' what I do.

FYI - also on Saturday(as well as all weekend) Taste of St. Louis is happening at Soldiers Memorial Park downtown

Tonight: EBL

Tomorrow: housework, hockey watching, not sure

Sunday: hockey playing if my allergies don't kill me and softball playing - double header; suitable for spectators!

sat. - hockey sounds fun!  taste sounds fun!  might even take a look at morganford in motion, and every other street fest going on in st. louis.

raygun and i won't be seeing anyone next weekend, we are going to Philadelphia.  (if anyone has any good siteseeing or eateating ideas for philly, let us know.
