Real Life: July 31-August 2 Flavor

What up, yo?

Tonight, I think I might go to the Big Ass Indie Craft Show at Mad Art Gallery. You?

Tomorrow: Farmers' Market, look at dogs, clean, maybe hang with some pals o' mine. Very low-key.

Sunday: Art projects, D&D (final session), maybe some sort of exercise?

Now you go:

I'm down and out for the count tonight. Long week!

Then camping the rest of the weekend.

Cheers!

Tonight: Hopefully have some dinner with some people somewhere, assuming the kid's nap schedule works right, which it looks like it will. I vote anything but Mexican. Also celebrate the return home of Porkchop Jr. from his bidness trip.

Saturday: Maybe try to convince Demanda and her bf to take us dog shopping without coming off as too obsessed with this whole dog project. Dinner w/ family in the evening. Taco potluck!!1!

Sunday: Nuttin.

I think a bunch of campers are camping this weekend, though sadly I couldn't join them since I never got caught up from being out of town last weekend. Boo. Instead...

Tonight: Cardinals game. They're playing Houston, who I would like to see us beat by 10 runs like the last game we attended on Tuesday.

Tomorrow: Doing some house stuff, laundry, etc. Finishing knitting a baby sweater for a highly anticipated niece (she's not showing up till December, but the baby shower is next weekend). Maybe doing something thoroughly St. Louisian... the zoo or City Museum perhaps?

Sunday: Doing as much of nothing as is humanly possible.

Also, at various points in the weekend, I have high hopes of attempting to prepare the following: blueberry buckwheat pancakes, potato gnocchi, and tiramisu cupcakes. I don't know where this all fits in my plan to lose some weight already, but hell, I've got some fancy new cooking stuff* and I intend to use it.

*Seriously, my new muffin pans weigh like 5 pounds each. They are awesome.

I vote for someplace with a nice patio tonight. Atomic Cowboy? La Tropicana? Royale?

Otherwise, helping to build up the health care reform movement and work stuff on Saturday.

Picnic with Pingotsis on Sunday.

I was going to say that I am doing exactly what PJLime said, but now I think I will instead skip that and go to the Prof's kitchen to help taste things.

raygun, come over Sunday evening when you get back in town, we will have leftovers. I hear pan fried, day-old gnocchi is the best food ever, and I am anxious to try it out.

I recommend The Royale for you all. I won't be going, though, as I'll be attending the Cardinals game tonight hopefully feasting on some pasta they bring us vegetarians.

I do feel a need to ride a Ferris Wheel on top of a tall building, so maybe that will happen tomorrow.

I think I'm just going to lay around a bit otherwise. Maybe outside, maybe with a bottle of white wine, to feel a little more of this whole Summer thing that's going on.

I vote for the Royale over YGM's other patio suggestions.

I don't know what else we'll be doing this weekend.

I apologize for suggesting some patio places and now we're not able to go... I ran into some tickets to the baseball game tonight. The Royale would have been great... if you end up not going there this week, let's go there next week. Enjoy your evenings!

raygun and i will be making our camping list and checking it twice.  apparently we have a very anal group of people going on this particular trip.

the campground we are booked for got flooded, but al and fmf are driving around looking for another place.

if anyone changes their mind about camping or just coming down to float on sunday, give me a call to find out our hiding place.  618.616.5316.

we will join you all next week on another patio.
