porky chops - how about you just tell us what you ate for lunch then we'll go from there... i will pre-suggest lemongrass because i haven't been there in a long time. but as usual i can't be there until about 8 so save us some seats (i'm bringing the redbird)

sat day: i'm subbing a class at the y at 10.30am.  let me know if you want to try out the kicking.  i hope to work on my patio in the afternoon.  in the eve, i'm going to a friend's for a belated bday party.

sun day: im hoping for some more sunny weather!

La Tropicana because it should be nice out tonight.

OK, we can go to Lemongrass tonight -- even though I was really craving the E'ville Chinese joint (j/k -- y'all know I'll eat anything when it comes right down to it). For all I know, it might be just the Deer, her bird, and I for din-din anyways.    

Also, Miss Coral and the Pork Cutlet are visiting great-grandma Cameron in Iowa today and tomorrow.  They should get in time to do something tomorrow night, though.  So, needless to say, I will be spending most of that time period on the east side.  Except tomorrow afternoon, when I'm going to the ladysoccer game at SLU with some folks. Maybe we'll all be pumped from the Athletica's first victory and ready to go out and throw down afterward. And I also told my carpool buddy that I'd meet up with him for drinks at some point this weekend. Probably tonight I guess, unless there's something totally cool and exclusive going on. And I'll be enjoying the good weather.  Immensely.    

Oh crap, I forgot YGM was planning to be around this week.  And I forgot to check for additional messages before posting.  Yes, let's go to La Tropicana. For the long-lost birthday boy and all. (That way I can go to Chinese for lunch, which I really secretly wanted! Not j/k!)

head count so far: deer, bird, ygm, ping, porkchop. (are the prof and bug baseballin' tonight?)

Yes, tonight Bug & I are doing the baseball watching thing. Hopefully the Cards will keep the winning streak alive and hand the Cubs a bit of their own tails. Hopefully the blisters I've acquired from these shoes will not impede the long trek from our secret parking spot to the stadium. Hopefully I will eat nachos for dinner.

Tomorrow: Sportz! Then a big band dance at Grant's Shelter in JB park. I have no idea what to expect, except a big band and dancing, I suppose.

Sunday: If it's actually sunny this week, I intend to poke around in the garden and look critically at plants and try to determine which should be allowed to survive. So much responsibility!

Actually, it's just me. But, yes, that works. See you there!

And for those of you scoring at home (or even if you're alone!), John Brooks will be joining us as well, making it 7 total, I suppose.
