Random Links -n- Stuff

Some things I've seen lately:

Okay, so this is a series of commercials, but they're fairly entertaining:   Will it Blend?

The guy in these spots is a little on the "ready to snap / possibly dresses up like a ballerina when no one's around" vibe end of things, which makes it all the more entertaining.

How about   Chore Wars? As you can see, I've created a character (Duste Bunnye) and an adventure for any of you willing to join: Find a new mead hall (i.e. HL locale) for Friday nights. The group name for us is "Geek Life Filth". Do it!

Also: Recreations of baby pictures. I totally want to do this now.

That baby picture stuff freaks me out. It's best when they try to get the same outfits, though.

I've recently enjoyed this lovely piece of design.

This cool project (limited edition print runs of 200 for $20 each).

Coral should do one of those baby pictures -- you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Ima Pepper pointed this out at dinner the other night, and I know it's been in the news and it's corporate shilling, but I've been entertaining myself at work for weeks with http://www.hulu.com/  -- a one-stop shop for loads of full episodes of old and new TV shows (and some lame-ass movies) on the web. I've been working my way through the first (and only) season of the ill-fated, Dick Wolf produced "Conviction" along with all 8 episodes of The Dana Carvey Show, while Ima, I think, was getting into Nip/Tuck.  But I think my lunch hour is booked for the next year or so with full seasons of Doogie Howser, Hill Street Blues, Murder One, Firefly, Weird Science... Granted, I have low standards when it comes to TV-watchin', but it beats reading Education Week.

What is the password for Geek Life Filth?

I don't believe there is a password--I think you just have to sign up and ask to join the party so I can approve you.
