Real Life: Life on the Streets, April 6-8

It's a weekend! It's an Easter Weekend! My l'il sis is trying to talk me into attending an adult egg hunt this weekend that involves drinking for two hours, and then heading into a wooded park area with flashlights and baskets. I opted for "no" on that one, so what do you have for me to do instead?

GL snubber, MAD hater, and friend Kristin is in St. Louis for the weekend--huzzah! 

Tonight, I work late, possibly attend my friend Ron's art show, and possibly also hang out with onetime GL lurker Rachel B.

Tomorrow, I work, and then I avoid drunken, egg-hunting mishaps by doing something not-that-ish?

Sunday, I celebrate Easter by working, then maybe hanging out with the fambily and eating too much sugar.

Tonight...Have we been to El Burrito Loco too recently? I'd eat there. Otherwise...it has been a long while since we've done a Mangia Happy Life. Those are my picks.

It's a small, one-room print show by our friends Ron (he was at the moustache party last week) and Monica (girlfriend of Anchovy). The location is the Forest Part Comminity College Art Annex on Highland Park. There will be approx. 7 to 10 pieces to see, so, apart from socializing, it should be a quick stop.

I think the art show will still allow us to get to Friendly's by 7:30pm, but if not, we should hold off and go around 8:30pm.

Tonight I sang karaoke for Peter. Tomorrow me and Porkchop go to Chicago. Sunday we go to Ikea. Monday we come home. No Easter for us. Maybe we'll have some post-Easter egg dying next week...
